Certification Levels Registered Biomedical Illustrator Financial Practising members can submit a portfolio of work which is judged by an expert panel at a Biennial Conference. The RBI program is aimed at establishing a minimum professional standard in our field. Successful candidates are entitled to use the letters R.B.I. after their name. Associate A member is judged to be an associate member of AIMBI after submission and scrutiny of details of educational, management and personal development within the field. The letters A.A.I.M.B.I. after a person's name signifies they have attained a professional level of competence in their biomedical communication career. Fellowship The letter F.A.I.M.B.I. after a member's name is a recognition of excellence in biomedical communication, illustration or education.
