  • Registered Biomedical Illustrator
    Financial Practising members can submit a portfolio of work which is judged by an expert panel at a Biennial Conference. The RBI program is aimed at establishing a minimum professional standard in our field. Successful candidates are entitled to use the letters R.B.I. after their name.

    Portfolios and supporting information should be delivered to your state R&E Board member. Please check with your R&E Board member for details of delivery

  • Associate
    A member is judged to be an associate member of AIMBI after submission and scrutiny of details of educational, management and personal development within the field. The letters A.A.I.M.B.I. after a person's name signifies they have attained a professional level of competence in their biomedical communication career.

    For the year 2007 send 8 photocopies of your documentation to Heather Matthews, Queensland Institute of Medical Research, PO Box Royal Brisbane Hospital 4029. Queensland Australia. Please retain originals for verification. due date is April 16 2007. Copies will be circulated to all R&E members

  • Fellowship
    The letter F.A.I.M.B.I. after a member's name is a recognition of excellence in biomedical communication, illustration or education.
