Membership
Membership Levels
There are several membership levels within AIMBI.
- Affiliate Member
The base level is an "Affiliate" - person who is not
professionally engaged in the field, but shares the goals and
aspirations on the Institute.
- Practising Member
A practising member is a person who earns the majority of their
income from biomedical communication. This level is also the key
to higher membership levels.
- Remote Member
A level of membership that encompasses both of the above was developed
for people who are too far away to attend the usual meetings.
- Student Member
Students who are currently enrolled in studies relating to biomedical
or communication courses at a recognised institution can also
join as Student members.
- Corporate Member
Corporate membership is open to companies or corporate bodies
with an interest in the ambitions and objectives of AIMBI.

Note: There is a one-off joining fee of $25.00
