PMA Australia presents “Digital Life Expo”
AIMBI members are invited to the PMA conference this year in Melbourne, 3 – 6 June 2010.
Conference highlights include the AIMBI Awards exhibition located in the exhibition hall at the “Digital Life Photo Gallery” and the IPT exhibition located at Michael’s Camera Museum.

The Photo Imaging Education Association unites the educators who see the extraordinary in the ordinary and inspires its members to be better teachers at any level of education. These sessions are developed with the support of PIEA, The Institute of Photographic Technology (IPT), and the Australian Institute of Medical and Biological Illustration (AIMBI).

IMI Affiliate Award
This year the Institute of Medical Illustrators has launched a new award: the “IMI Affiliate Award” and we welcome entries from AIMBI.
The “IMI Affiliate Award” is presented to the best entry from a member of an affiliated organisation. Entries can be clinical photography,
healthcare design or clinical video and are welcomed from the following organisations:
MAA – Medical Artists’ Association (UK)
AHPO - Association of Health Professions in Ophthalmology (UK)
HeSCA - Health Sciences Communications Association (US)
BIPP - British Institute of Professional Photography (UK)
RPS – Royal Photographic Society (UK)
AMI - Association of Medical Illustrators (US)
OIA - Ophthalmic Imaging Association (UK)
BCA - BioCommunications Association (US)
BARS - British Association of Retinal Screeners (UK)
AIMBI - Australian Institute of Medical and Biological Illustration (Australia)
RCGP - Royal College of General Practitioners (UK)
The winner receives a certificate and £100.
